Meet the Team

Jessica Corrocher

CEO & Owner

Jessica has been dedicated to providing support to students, their families and providers for 7+ years, having worked within various supporting roles to ensure students received the support they need to succeed and creating strong working environments for the Providers and Therapeutic professionals on her team.

As a Mom and lifelong learner (Champlain College 2008), Jessica understands the importance of accessible, high-quality educational resources both within and outside the classroom. Her dedication to educational support for both students and families led her to establish Light Shine: Therapy for All; an agency dedicated to understanding and compassion not only for the student's we serve, but also for the incredible providers who have found their passion in helping adolescents to build strong educational foundations (so their light can shine bright too).

In a small Vermont community, Jessica grew up surrounded by a deep appreciation for the value of personalized learning. Inspired by a childhood where a close-knit classroom often involved parent helpers and volunteers--her own mother a large part of that grade school journey--Jessica saw the ongoing and ever evolving need for fostering strong, supportive learning communities especially after becoming a mother herself.

As a Mom to a young family, already so deeply involved in educational support programs, the growth of virtual learning highlighted a need for accessible, high-quality resources for students and their families who've chosen educational alternatives to traditional brick-and-mortar schooling. Jessica knows that providing innovative tools and solutions designed to enrich learning experiences for students, no matter where they do their learning, is vital to all. You will always hear her say, "these students are our future."

Outside of work, Jessica is an avid reader, daughter, niece and mother to Dannica, two Bonus Daughters and two Dachshunds (Napoleon and Waylon). Her commitment to nurturing communities branches out beyond the classroom, where she gets involved in local events supporting special needs and humanitarian projects, leading Light Shine's Community Involvement Committee with providers getting involved throughout Pennsylvania and across the United States - to shine light and love wherever her team can. #teamlightshine

Kerianne Hicks

COO & Owner

Kerianne, a passionate advocate for mental health and behavior, has been working in the field of support services since 2010. After graduating from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling Psychology, she began working in the field as Therapeutic Support Staff. Through hands-on therapy she began to fall in love with the field of behavior and after completing her Master of Arts degree in School and Professional Counseling  from Seton Hall University, she became a Licensed Behavior Specialist Consultant and certified School Counselor.

Having struggled with ADHD and anxiety all of her life, Kerianne understands the importance of high quality educational resources and a supportive learning environment. She believes that the foundation of a successful therapeutic relationship is building meaningful, supportive relationships with our clients. She also believes that providing a supportive, team environment for providers enhances the overall well being of the communities we serve.

After opening 2 successful fitness businesses with her husband, Kris, Kerianne’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to an amazing opportunity to partner with Jessica Corrocher as an owner of Light Shine: Therapy For All in 2024. Together they plan to carry out the mission of Light Shine to provide high quality services through education and empowerment.

When she’s not providing therapy or coaching fitness classes, Kerianne is a devoted wife and mother to her 3 daughters- Madelynn, Julianna, and Analise. She is an animal lover and has 2 dogs, 3 cats, a guinea pig, and 15 chickens. She is an active member of Bangor Elementary PTO board and can usually be found volunteering in her local community.
